MODERN MEDITERRANEAN

We had the privilege of transforming a heavy Venetian-style home known for its ornate detailing and dark finishes into what is now a beautiful Modern Mediterranean home. Our goal was to create a chic, clean, eclectic, warm, and inviting home suitable for a family of six.

To achieve this, we began the renovation by strategically removing some of the heavy moldings and replacing traditional fixtures with sleek, contemporary options. We then softened the walls with a fresh, neutral palette, using soft whites and light grays to brighten the rooms.

The living areas feature a mix of modern furnishings and curated eclectic pieces, such as a vintage coffee table paired with contemporary sofas. We curated amazing area rugs throughout the home that add warmth and personality, drawing the eye and providing cozy moments.

For these empty nesters, bringing the family back to the house was at the forefront of our design goals in the kitchen. The workspace is functional yet inviting, with warm bleached walnut cabinets and modern appliances integrated seamlessly. The highlight is an all-metal island contrasted with a white and gray marble floor—perfect for a family to gather and create a family meal together.

Thoughtful accessories, including family photos and curated art pieces, bring personality and character to each room, making it distinctly inviting for a family lifestyle.
