Norman Design Group is partnering with architect Russ Barto on a special, extensive remodel transforming this owner’s childhood house into their dream home. We were instructed to honor the original details while modernizing finishes and incorporating their passion for indoor-outdoor living and entertainment. An extended kitchen area and open floor plan with additions of an infinity pool, pickle ball courts, and cabana allow for relaxed living inside and outside the home. Seamless exterior integration is achieved by large windows that display the home’s canyon and city views.

What we love about this project: the low, horizontal architecture, amazing tile work, double islands in the kitchen, convenient outdoor shower areas, and the exploration of ways we could incorporate childhood memories into our design!
